Software and Hardware Descriptions

Overview:
The Lab is divided into two areas: a hands-on area where lab
participants get hands-on experience with various computer applications,
and a presentation area, where didactic sessions are informally
presented in front of a group of interested participants.
'Hands-On' Area
- 4 computers total - 2 MACs and 2 IBM-compatible
- 1 IBM/MAC compatible printer (USB-capable)
- T1 Line - shared among computers
Presentation Area
- 2 computers total: 1 MAC and 1 IBM-compatible
- Large monitor hooked up to both computers
- T1 Line - shared among computers

- iMac, Rev B (if possible), with:
- 266MHz PowerPC G3 processor
- 64mb RAM total (add 32mb to standard configuration)
- 6GB IDE hard drive
- 24X CD-ROM
