HORSELOVER'S WEEKENDS

Open to all boys and girls ages 10 - 14, who would like to spend their weekend as a wrangler riding in the woods and fields of our 455 acre property. Though geared primarily for beginner and intermediate riders, this program is open to all riders, regardless of ability.

Friday night, the experience starts with get-to-know-you games and activities. Saturday is filled with fun in the saddle. Participants will learn to groom and saddle their horse and spend the rest of the morning in the ring working on their skills. After a delicious lunch, the group will saddle up and go on a trail ride around Lake Mac-O-Chee, take a photo of you and your horse, with time left over for games and a shower. Sunday morning is reserved for another trail ride. The weekend concludes with lunch on Sunday. The YMCA will provide 24 hour supervision during this fun-filled weekend.

Cost:

$142.00 per person
